Community Plan and it’s current status is on hold, I think awaiting review of the Community Workshops, last I heard was about the revisions was in February, there was suppose to be some type of community review in 6 months. The proposed zoning changes and Community Plan may have been discussed at the GH South Neighbor Council which I could not attend. I’ll ask for members to contribute an update.

June 16th, 2009Welcome to HowsRealEstate.com! Amazing how one thing leads to another in life, and sometimes it all comes together. I just felt that there may be a need to try and help understand the current circumstances in real estate in order to make better decision for the future. Real estate has been a blessing and a curse at times, this all came together with my confusion of maybe being off almost $100K in pricing a home in my neighborhood that I thought I knew so well – Old Granada Hills. I was about 10% overpriced according to some estimates, and almost 19% over online calculators – looking for solid evidence to explain the difference. The answers I’m finding may affect my local area’s real estate values more than in other areas, on the other hand, it may be a massive miscalculation of home values on a nationwide basis. Seeing what the results are from “the latest boom”, of overpricing, it may be time to consider the problems and effects underpricing has on our selves and our society. We are all in this together…whether we like it or not. I would appreciate you constructive views - start blogging!
